Autoconfirmed users are a user right that is automatically given to any user instantly upon registering, making them essentially the same as normal users.
Basic rights
- Edit pages protected as "Allow only autoconfirmed users"
(editsemiprotected) - Not be affected by IP-based rate limits
(autoconfirmed) - Not create redirects from source pages when moving pages
(suppressredirect) - Use external links in comments
(commentlinks) - edit_sprites
(edit_sprites) - Perform CAPTCHA-triggering actions without having to go through the CAPTCHA
