It appears this feature is dead

With no activity for more than 6 months (and I recognize you folks are busy with UCP), are you sure you want to advertise it as an active program on a main page? Having nominated several folks and assuming others have also, if there is no intent on continuing, it's a waste of space and some user's time. Please don't interpret this as wanting to discard the achievements already documented; my suggestion is to retain that publicly but clearly state the intentions of the program. Thanks for all the good work and I am personally sorry this fell below the red line on your list. Jimathome (talk) 19:15, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

The previous statements were that EotM candidates are still being selected (which has become a Fandom-wide feature, and not just that for Gamepedia), and that COVID delayed any EotM announcement. (Apparently they don't want to announce winners without sending them the packages, which they can't do due to logistics issues?) If I recall correctly, previously the information was that we could expect an announcement by end of summer, right now I don't remember seeing any recent information at all on whether we can expect one. --AttemptToCallNil (talk) 19:51, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
