These are the issues and changes found on Gamepedia wikis migrated to UCP, the new unified platform for both Fandom and Gamepedia.
Messages first mentioning the issue in every conversation are referenced even if redundant. Additions in chronological order of first mention are preferred. The order of items in lists should not be changed. Timestamps are YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm
in UTC.
Ticket statuses:
- The issue exists and is reported to staff/developers.
- The issue exists, but not known whether it's been reported to staff/developers.
Issue statuses:
- Not known whether the issue still exists.
- The issue is no more.
- It is no longer meaningful to consider this issue. For example, the affected feature got removed completely.
- This is an intentional change, and from the perspective of staff/developers, not an addressable issue. As such, it is not going to be fixed.
- Unlikely to get fixed, at least in the near future. May be blocked by some other substantial issue, may be caused by external factors, may require too much effort to fix, or may be part of some functionality that is planned to be removed.

- Likely cause:
$wgAllowSiteCSSOnRestrictedPages

- Partial fix applied (now respects light/dark wikis). The rest of the styles still don't apply, and wide logos (on wikis that have wide logos) are broken.

Also, there are differences across browsers (Chrome and Firefox); strictly speaking, with these issues, Firefox is more standard-conformant, but given Chromium/Webkit's prominence, this is more or less irrelevant. 2020-10-05 20:28.
Input element (checkbox / button / text field / radio button) styling is broken. - [16][17]

Expected changes
These issues are expected configuration and platform changes that are not inherently problematic. They are unlikely to be changed again in the near future.
- Search is changed to the UCP search. Many advanced search features, most notably
insource

- Global Lua modules from the Fandom Dev wiki can now be imported.[67]
- Admins can now self-demote.[38]
Pre-migration benefits
These affect all Gamepedia wikis, not just those on the new platform. However, these features have been enabled in the process of moving Gamepedia to the new platform.
- Shared login system with Fandom. Fandom accounts are usable on both systems, and a Twitch account is no longer needed.
- The new image backend, though not without its issues, is a lot faster than the old one.
New extensions
- Extension:CodeMirror is available by default, enabling syntax highlighting for the 2010 editor.[38]
- Extension:TemplateData is available by default.[38]
- Extension:Labeled Section Transclusion is available by default.[38]
