Widget:Facebook Like Button

This widget allows you to embed a Facebook Like Button (iframe version) on your wiki page.

Adding this widget

To use this widget on your site, just install the Widgets extension and copy the full source code of this page to your wiki as Widget:Facebook Like Button article.

Using this widget

To insert this widget, use the following code:

Parameters

All parameters are required. Each parameter is separated from the others by a pipe symbol "|" (don't use spaces in the code). If you want to use the default values, then the only required parameter is profile.

  • profile - URL of page on Facebook (e.g. https://www.facebook.com/CurseGamepedia). This should match the URL shown when the person's profile is on-screen; no other code in the URL should be copied, i.e. "&sk=wall".
  • width - Width in pixels for the box; this should only be a number, no "px". Defaults to 52. If standard is set to true, set width to at least 225 for accurate rendering. If button_count is set to true, set width to 90 for accurate rendering. Minimum is 47.
  • height - Height in pixels for the box; this should only be a number, no "px". Defaults to 20. If faces or standard is set to true, set height to 80 for accurate rendering. If box_count is set to true, set height to 65 for accurate rendering. Minimum is 20.
  • layout - Selects one of the different layouts that are available for the plugin. Can be one of standard, button_count, button or box_count. Defaults to button.
  • action - The verb to display on the button. Can be either like or recommend. Defaults to like.
  • size - The button is offered in 2 sizes i.e. large and small. Defaults to small.
  • faces - Specifies whether to display profile photos below the button. true or false. Defaults to false.
  • share - Specifies whether to include a share button beside the Like button. true or false. Defaults to false.
  • theme - The color scheme used by the plugin for any text outside of the button itself. Can be light or dark. Defaults to light.
