Why did Wynncraft wiki move to Gamepedia?
Gamepedia, owned by Curse Media, is the largest collection of gaming-related wikis on the web. Being part of Gamepedia will help Wynncraft Wiki provide the best tools and support to users, as well as the best possible experience from a layout perspective and with ads that are less obtrusive. Gamepedia is also home to many of the biggest Minecraft-related wikis, such as the Official Minecraft wiki and FTB wiki.
What will happen to my Wynncraft Wiki account and contributions?
Your Wynncraft wiki account will no longer be able to be used to log into the wiki. You will need to register a new account through Gamepedia in order to log into the wiki after the move is complete.
How can I claim my old edits from before the move?
Gamepedia staff will be helping to connect old edit histories with new accounts. Once you have registered a new account through Gamepedia, you can use this form to submit your two account names to be merged. Merge requests will be processed on a weekly basis until the end of July. After that date, you will need to visit Gamepedia Support and submit a ticket including your old Wynncraft Wiki username and your new Curse/Gamepedia username. Your account does not need to be merged to continue editing. Your old edits simply will not yet be "credited" to the proper account.
